O erro é por que você não está seguindo o procedimento corretamente (Principalmente na hora de usar a firmware CUSTOM). Vou te explicar melhor. Atualize seu iPhone direto pelo iTunes para a versão 3.1.2, tendo feito isso faça o jaibreack com o software (blackra1n.exe) Em seguida coloque novamente seu iPhone em modo DFU, e passe a firmware CUSTOM usando a tecla "SHIFT" de seu PC, logo apos faça o jaibreack novamente com o (blackra1n.exe) e use o arquivo (install.bat). Pronto, estar resumido e simplificado agora o procedimento para você Lembrando: Processo é 100% funcional, qualquer dúvida nos contate, sinta-se a vontade.
