A Anatel (Agência Nacional de Telecomunicações) divulgou os dados do mercado de telefonia móvel no Brasil referente ao mês de janeiro deste ano. De acordo com a Anatel, a quantidade de linhas móveis ativadas em janeiro deste ano (1.639.892) atingiu uma marca histórica, ficando atrás apenas de janeiro de 2008 (com 1.877.474 de linhas ativadas). Com isso o Brasil chega a ter 175.599.260 (82,62% pré-pagos e 17,38% pós-pagos) de linhas de telefonia móvel. Se você pensar que o Brasil tem aproximadamente 192.530.986 de habitantes, é quase uma linha de telefone celular por habitante.
