This is a very issue for MTK new version fails to install. Some computers perhaps cannot install the new version immediately. (The version NO. is showed in the left top of file window. Now the newest one is "6.48 plus (6.48 +)" ) The problem may be solved by this way:

1. delete all MTK files

2. Install the newest version

Because of issues of IMEI changing, the file version must be confirmed. Only version "6.48 plus (6.48 +)" can change most MTK mobiles IMEI.

Please make sure the version you using is up-to-date
