    Desbloqueio de operadora pela Chimera não requer root, até porque é feito a leitura online usando créditos e o retorno é o código que você irá inserir no aparelho (quando é estrangeiro e você coloca um chip ele vai pedir o PUK, esse código da Chimera é o PUK), se fizer o unlock usando root, vai ter um unlock parcial e quando resetar ou reinstalar o sistema vai voltar a pedir o puk, ao contrario do read codes que é oficial.
