LG2G Rocker v1.01 released 11.03.2009

Whats new:

* Firmware autodetection added
* GUI slightly changed
* Alchemy flashing improved for some models
* Minor bug fixes

!!! IMPORTANT !!!

We need as many as possible locked backups from supported models. To read full backup, tick "Full" check box, select "Read" in options and press "Do Job". After reading, software will inform You about readed files and location where those files are saved. You'll need to pack those files with winrar or winzip and upload directly to LG Rocker support -> Upload folder.

Users who upload more then 10 different backups will be granted with 3 months support area extension.

Info about FTDI interface produced before year 2009: (small black box with external smart card holder)

This interface has factory fault, resulting in very bad RX latency. It will result with "Phone not answer" errors on booting process, or "Block Transfer Error" on reading.

To fix it, You'll need to perform modifications according to instructions from here.

LG Rocker v1.09 released 05.05.2009

Whats new :

* Added writting Country Code for OTP models (U300, U310, U450, U880, U890, U900)
* EFS reading improved (Will not work with all models !)
* Uploading custom PXO modules is now enabled (Useful for "hackers" )


In order to perfect our support for OTP models, we added Country Code update. Due to limitations hardcoded into some firmwares, these models needs flashing in some cases.

For example, You have an UK U300 phone. In order to get it working, You must flash IT firmware into phone using LGMDP software.
After flashing, phone will start with YELLOW SCREEN ! In order to repair this, simply click "Write Country Code" in LG Rocker v1.09 and select "UK" from drop down list.
After this, phone will start normaly, and You can press "Unlock" button to get it working with all SIM cards.

Please download and install "LGRocker_v1.09.exe" from support.

Motorola W388 and W396 code calculation is still free ofcourse, but we have one important statement:

Phones damaged with smart clip will have WRONG codes. We are working on solution for this problem, so please dont upload eeproms from phones which is "unlocked" by smart clip.
Direct unlock and repair for these models is going to be released next week.

Just to have it in mind, ODM Rocker is still ONLY available solution to unlock Motorola EM325. (released by vodafone in australia and many other countries)

Year 2009 firmware support - new BETA version
Hi,

First, we're sorry it took so long, but we were busy with Gremlins (very dangerous ).

Now, here is beta version which will work with KU990i year 2009, as proof of concept. Other models may work too, but also may not -)



Now about KU990i year 2009 :

- Firmware detection is automatic, but, You can get into "Not supported are You sure" screen. Just click continue and tell us what hapens.
- KU990iGO, KF701, CT-810 may work, but also may not. In any case, if You get blinking phone simply reflash it using "erase EFS" option in LGMDP. We will add definite support maybe even tomorrow for all models.


Please download and install "LGRocker_v1.10_BETA.exe" from support.
And also please report any success/problem here on forum.

whats new:

We can say this is final version, so here is again list of new models which is correctly supported:

Important notices:

• It is advised to backup NVM prior to any operations on all models
• If You get "Firmware not supported" message, take note that this is only due to number of firmwares we have tested. ALL Firmwares will work on new phones, message is there due to software concept
  
• In case You get some error while unlocking, DO NOT flash phone or disconnect. It is enough to press "Flash ID" button on "ADVANCED" tab and then switch back and press "Unlock"
• If You get into some trouble, despite all perfection that LG Rocker has, please include Phone model, sw version and LOG from operations when asking for help. Otherwise, i will delete Your post and BLOCK Your dongle. I am serious !
• DO NOT use versions 1.10 and 1.11 anymore !
